a different ride that autumn day

A little story about a day I spent in my job here in Norfolk, VA. The company I work for has operations in different port areas, one of them being Elizabeth, NJ. Seems that since here in Norfolk that we got a new '08 Ford F250 pickup that we had to shuffle the old one up to NJ along with an SUV that the company also owned. Andy and I drove the vehicles up one October day along route 13 across the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel Bridge and up the DelMarVa peninsula and into NJ. The plan called for the owner of the company to meet us at the docks in Elizabeth and drive us to Morristown and fly us back to Norfolk in his Citation jet. The drive up took about 5 hours, but once we were airborne the ride back only took about 55 minutes. I took pictures because I didn't think anyone would believe me, so here they are.

Of course Dan asks if you did a loop :) , but Bruce, I'm glad that you enjoyed the flight.

Nice second ride, right behind the nomad of course. I used to get a ride occasionally on a small company jet and it was plush surroundings.
