I feel the same about social media as Dave.
Hell it irks me to see see half the zombies walking around texting and not paying attention to where they are walking

Like others have said, the majority of activity was on the VBA and VRA Facebook pages. Hundreds of pictures have been shared and posted there, but not too much on either association's forums. We even mentioned and asked people to share their pics, etc on the forums, but it doesn't look like it's happened much.

Although forums predate facebook, forums inherently are social... ie they bring people together on common ground. Some of the most enthusiastic and social members (new blood, so to speak) are on FB. Obviously not everyone is going to adapt to changing platforms, but those who don't will definitely be missing out on a huge aspect of VBA.

I agree Jared. After our VBA national rallys, even the regional ones we'd all be post whores and make tons of posts. Times are a changin'

It's he evolution of how information is shared. remember when text bulletin boards were a big deal. I have to wonder what comes after Facebook.

I have no time or interest in FB. I guess I will just continue to be a dinosaur on the forum till we are extinct.

I remember using OH (Out Houses).

The idea of releasing that which once provided nourishment to my body in the house is just nasty.

I dropped mine on the way home. I was leaving a convince store after a rain driving up hill into a blind intersection at a stop sign. I don't know if I didn't give it enough gas or too fast on the clutch, but when she stalled and started rolling backwards it was all over but the inevitable dropping. That front brake held but the fount tire just slid faster when I hit the brake.

I image I had it overloaded by twice what Kaw recommends all on the top.

Is that because of the ankle bracelet you now wear and Chris Hansen?
