Waving Headlight Not Working

Three days ago while driving through a rain shower my turning signal's stopped working. That same day I started installing a Kuryakin HyperCharger Pro on my same bike. After three days of trying to follow the installation I realized that their where hardware parts missing. Since I have to send the Kuryakin HyperCharger Pro back I decided to put the motorcycle back together. Note on installation I went as far as moving the throttle body out of the way so I could remove the copper tube breather that runs from the air filter to the back of the throttle body. Once I installed everything I turned the bike on and everything but the headlight and the turning signal worked. I found out that the turning signal fuse had blow, changed it and checked all the other fuses. However the headlight is still not working. I have a easy voltage tester that just lets me know if their power running through. I used it on the fuse box and their no power running to the headlight vs power running to the turning signal. I have no clue what could of happen as it was working prior to me working on the bike. This is on a 2006 Vulcan 1500 Classic FI. Hopefully someone out their and share some light or give me some guidance.

My guess would be no because I don't have clue where the headlight relay is at. Is their a diagram of what I'm looking for online?

Here is a picture of one.

It should be behind the side cover on the right side, if you're sitting on the bike.

I don't see that relay on my 1600 Nomad unless it is hidden where I can't find it. I thought the relay is part of the fuse package on the 1600. It would be good if it was separate.

Not trying to be a smart butt, but you do know that the headlight will not come on unless you hit the start button and spin the engine over................ just doing the simple stuff first.

Obviously different to the 1500 carbed bikes then.

I probably can safely assume you don't have the factory shop manual. Scroll down about half way on this page. The zip file for your bike is named "2000-2008 1500 Classic FI" or something like that. https://www.vulcanrider.se/en/kawasa...rvice-manuals/

Yup. Print the page and then you go to a dollar store and get a package of fine tip highlighters. I draw out most of my added circuits and such and highlight them that way.

I even keep a copy on the bike because you just know something will happen on the road.

A friend of mine rides a Suzuki Boulevard and their lock out set-up won't let the bike power up if the bike is gear.

I've watched him get upset and try to figure out what broke when he shut it off just a few minutes ago, several times now.

I usually let him go on for a full 2-3 minutes then ask him if it's in gear.

Yes, I can be a real Asshole sometimes.
