Greetings: I just signed up for this forum and wanted to say hi...

I acquired an '02 Nomad a few months ago after semi-retiring my '01 Vulcan Classic 1500 (FI) when she turned 101K miles. The Vulcan, although running perfectly, is now dedicated to local one-up rides while the Nomad is used for two-up longer day rides.

This Nomad is one terrific ride, truly impressive. The bike had 32K miles but I tacked on 3400 miles since getting it. I just painted it C4 Corvette Bright Red with the same feathered theme as my C3 Corvette Bright Yellow Vulcan. See attached pix...

I have plans to 'chromeup' the Nomad, not excessively but just enough to make is a little more spiff. I need a front fender rear tip and rear fender tip if anyone out there has a line on who might have them in stock.

I'm a retired engineer living about 25 miles from downtown Seattle and ride all year so if anyone in the Seattle area want's to get together, shoot me an e-mail and off we go!!

Scott...I'm not sure what happened but I thought I uploaded a file pix of the bike when I made my posting. Anyhow, I recently took my Vulcan down to bare metal and painted it a bright yellow and applied decals acquired from PurpleIron.com. The decals are their "dream catcher" feathers in black. I was so pleased with the outcome, I did the same thing with the Nomad but in bright red.

I was very active in the Delphi Kawasaki forum years ago and found posting pictures and files was easy but times have changed and I'm not sure how it works these days. We have sunny and unusually warm conditions up here in Seattle (record 74F yesterday) so I'm not wasting any riding time indoors!! When the rains hit in a few days and I'm house bound, I'll deal with the photo posting issue.

I find this Nomad really a terrific ride. Although the Vulcan Classic has given me 101K miles of trouble free riding (cam chains have become sloppy but the cam chain extenders solved that issue) I should have gotten the Nomad in '01 when I bought the Vulcan Classic 1500.
