Hello from SW Oklahoma

A bit premature as I don't pick up my new to me 07 Nomad until next week. I'm currently on a 01 Suzuki Volusia.

Like a lot of guys I'm coming back to riding after a large break from it. I rode quite a bit as a "kid", but joined the Army at 21 and did 23 years, not riding at all.

It actually took my wife buying a Suzuki C-50 to get me back interested in bike riding. So just a bit over a year ago I paid cash for the 01 Volusia. At the time I told my wife that if I enjoyed it as much as I used to, I'd ride the Suzuki for a year or so and then look for something bigger.

Long story short, I'm picking up my 07 all black Nomad next week.

Recognize some handles from the Suzuki board. Hope to be a productive member over here.

Almost forgot, now the wife wants a bigger bike too

I started riding again a few years ago after a 25 year absence. I started out on an '05 Suzuki C50T and traded it in 6 months later for an '07 Nomad fresh off the showroom floor.
