Back in the Saddle
Folks, I pulled the cover off of my bike, did a quick visual inspection and fired her up yesterday. She came back to life at once with a strong roar and I had a great ride to Deep Cove on the North Shore (I did a quick shopping at the local Costco in Burnaby also). I rode in to work this morning and man, it felt great! In terms of riding, nothing so extra-ordinary till now but I'm quite excited for the new season ahead of us.
Wishing everybody a great riding season in 2013, many safe and fun filled miles to you all. Cheers, E. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Good to hear you are getting out. And the new ride is responding well.
It will be awhile for me, the back alley is thick with ice. I have seen a few riders venture out, we had a couple +10 days last week here in Calgary. Have a feeling we are going to get an early Spring and long riding season, well that's what I keep telling myself. Have a great season

The season here last year started early, in mid March. Then it went downhill for about a month. September/Octoberl was not that great. My bike has been parked since mid October. Cant wait to get the honey do list finished and for the weather to perk up. Painting the hallway today, yippeeeee. How does anyone paint for a living ? It rates right up there with drywall mudding/sanding and roofing !!!!

I'm hoping I can at least get out for a real short ride before long, we still have too much snow and cold here at the moment.

My commute is very short and I haven't had a chance to do a decent trip on this Electra. By the end of this season, I will know my bike better, so far so good though... |

I'm sure you will find it a very comfortable easy handling machine.
