Hey guys. It stinks but I have to cancel for this year's rally. I've been trying to figure a way to make it happen for me but I'm gonna be on the road taking a car to my son out to Kansas. He's in the Air Force and w a baby daughter I just can't do it. I hope you all have a safe and great rally

I just finished putting new tires on and changing the Dif oil. It was brake pads a week ago while I had the wheels off and new plugs and a new air filter the week before that and believe me, none of those is a easy task on the Wing but am ready for the riding season to begin. Have my reservations in Az and Mo for the SW and SCentral rallies and all the spots in between. Then coming back to NC to spend a few days with Mother. Her health is failing but at 96 she's ok with what is coming so I am just going to have to be also. After visit with her I will come to Helen and should arrive Monday mid day. So see ya all in 3-4 weeks. Also all set for Red Lodge at end of July also and can't wait to get rolling! Everybody be safe!

I'll tell you, I got the rally fever right now and cain't wait to see everybody!!!!
  I been couped up all winter and we getting a lot of rain or too chilly for me to ride and I'm aching from not riding!!!! My Beloved Nomad ain't been getting the love and attention that she's been use too here lately.  I'm gonna give her a good throttle body cleaning. I know what pleases her. I got my technique down and it makes her purr like a kitty when I do that for her and she loves it. It makes her headlights shine.I love North Georgia and Helen is a beautiful place for a rally and they a biker friendly. I cain't wait!!!!!!!!!!!  Don't forget the beer Dk!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Kawhead, when are leaving and what route are you planing to take. I'm leaving Monday morning but I haven't decided whether to take the interstate or stick to the 2 lane back roads.

I'm leaving Monday morning out of East Bend and getting on I-40 to hwy64 at Morganton and to 17 into Helen. It's the long back road way but it's one of the prettiest roads in the country.
Todd found it a few years ago either by chance or knew it but it was so nice that I take it every time I can. He sold his bike and bought a boat.I begged the bone head to come to the rally.
