Thanks for the comments. I do this sort of stuff as part of my job.
honestly though fiberglass is one of the easyest media you can work with. you can literally shape it into anything you want.if you look through the album it should give you some ideas on how to shape what you want

I could see myself getting halfway though that project and abandoning ship, but I'd like learn more about working with fiberglass. I think there is some projects (mostly body), were fiberglass would be the best medium to work with.

it is a big undertaking but after I get the faring built and ready for body and paint I can put the bike back together and ride till i get that done. it will take a couple of weeks to paint the bike to (the paint job will be really out there) I have a really cool idea for my radio cover that i will be making out of fiberglass and other things I will post photos of it as I build it. I think anyone would be able to do this themselves.

I wrote captions on the photos for anyone who would like to try some glass work at home.

I'd love to try some "glass work" at home. As long as the glass is full of an alcoholic beverage.

At least I'd be happy. I really don't drink much. I can make a case last a year. Mostly because I'm too "cost effective" to buy any. I'd rather spend my hard earned money on other things.

You make it look easy, but any time Ive tried doing Fibreglass work it seems to get very messy, or it starts to harden in the container before I get the resin on the work.

If you keep a box of gloves handy you won't have a mess at all
I honestly think someone could make a iner faring without much trouble
and have something really nice when they got done
