Dunlop American Elite tires

What sizes is everyone running on these? I don't see the rear size in their chart.

That's what I have on my bike. They are decent tires.

Most are using 180 65 16 if the manufacturer does not uave stock size rears. It will fit no problem. That is what I am going with in either the Metzeler 888s or the Michelin Commander 2s when my stock tires take a dump.

The mechanic talked me in to Michelin Commander II tires. Paid for them today and they'll be put on June 14th.

Running the Commander II's on my Nomad. So far so good, tons of tread on the rear compared to the Dunlops I had..

Currently running Commander IIs. Have about 7,000 on the set. Used to get 11k to 13k on a set of tires on the Nomad; got the least mileage out of Avon tires. I ride a lot of chip sealed road that really wears out tires. Only complaint on the Commanders is traction. They are slick and seem to break loose easily when hard accelerating or in wet conditions. I have to ride cautious in the rain.

Had to look up what a chip sealed road was. Those things suck.

I just put a Commander II on my Nomad, now I have to be paranoid in the rain
Never had a traction problem with wet roads running Cobras.

All of the shops in the Boston area are back logged right now. Everyones trying to get their bikes done for the state safety inspection that expires at the end of the month and for bike week at Laconia.

Don't worry Tim the roads are really slick in Texas due to the materials used. Just remember there is less sipes on the Commander II, creating more smooth surfaces. I think the tire is harder which equates to longer mileage. I think it is going to be a better tire than most of the Dunlops, Bridgstones, Metzlers or Avons I've tried.
