So are we pumped up??

I for sure am pumped up....but I got to get my bike back from the shop first. It started running really crappy on my last legs of the trip south.....running really rich and dumping raw fuel. I took it to my local shop for the 30k service...they think there might be a valve that is not closing all the way. They will know more later today. If that is the case, we will have to move the bike to the dealership for a warranty repair. They can only do extended warranty work....not original warranty work. I don't get that....but that's what they tell me and I have one more month on my original warranty. I'm sure it will all work out fine...and indeed....I cannot wait to get back on the road and see/meet many more Nomad riders for the Vancouver Island Ride and in Kalispell... !

A simple compression test will determine if its a valve problem or not.

So are we pumped up??

I have ridden to work all week and will keep riding as much as possible so I am back in riding shape by the time we head over. I am very excited that Ava will finally be making a road trip with me. We will be heading over and spending 4 nights in Glacier prior to meeting up with the gang. She has to be home for reserves by the weekend so she will fly home on Wednesday. But we will have a week on the road!!!

We are currently sitting in Cedar City, Utah, 70 miles north of St. George and the weather is fantastic. Looking forward to 3 days of riding here and then heading north to the Craters of the Moon in Idaho and back to Kalispell for a couple of days to check out some more roads for Kris for the rally. Really looking forward to the rally.
