Took a 5 mile ride today. Temp was in the lower 40s so it was a little chilly.

A Very Large Group of Riders departing from locations in Texas heading to a Steakhouse in Winchester,Texas. The place is called Murphys Steakhouse.

We've planned and planned this trip for the last couple months and were rained, and or cold windy weather several times all ready.

I just hope all the Kawa's can get in all at once. From what I gather is that this place is
a hole in the wall. They cut your beef to your order size. So I am thinking a Juicy Thick Ribeye. As it gets packed. I will report back in on my Critic Report.

I think I'll pass on the Frog Legs this trip, as you can check their menu online.

At least you all can go to the store and buy a standing rib roast and some new potatoes,
salt and pepper roast, pop it in the over at 325 per pound for rare and have a good dinner yourself.

I'm still waiting for all of you to come to Texas so we can visit. =r=

Rolfe I'm here...........

The Missus and I took a little ride today(190 miles). Temps made it only to 60°F or so. Passed through Luckenbach TX to see what was going on. I saw a Nomad in Luckenbach; might have been a 99 or 01. Had a good day out.

It was brisk for sure. Alison and I met our group coming in from Lake Travis, and we headed out of Manor,Texas towards Winchester,Texas and stopped for two more riders. Another group came in from the Houston Texas area, and still another group from just south and east of there also. So about 50 + riders made it to Murphys Steakhouse. I do suggest the 12oz. Ribeye and yes they do hand cut these per your request. A good 1.5" Thick Steak and all the other goodies. We were hoping to see Skeeter from down your way Bigfish but he didn't make it. Were planning another ride in February for sure and check in to the www.texasvroc.org/ site just a great group of people. Sure wished you folks all around the county and Canada could make on down this way. Dang life just to short for us. Logged about 165 miles today. =r=

Beautiful day for a ride, 78 and sunny. Got in about 100 miles with a bite to eat in the middle. Got home and cleaned the garage up a little.

Got out and had about 100 miles today to a soccer game and then back to school and home. It was 86 on the way to the game, about 60 when I was coming home. Tough living in Florida.

I did get to ride 22 miles yesterday. Had a doctor's appointment. Then went to the grocery store to pick up a few items. Won't get to ride today as they are predicting 100% chance of rain.

I woke up with beautiful weather, 60's. I had to get it out just to get gas. (4 miles) plan on leaving work early so I can head down to Lake Mead.

Not as warm today, high 40s, but I rode 9 miles to fill up the Nomad. Now the nearest station with 100% gas is 9 miles away. 18 miles total ridden today.

I did ride today but only 3 miles. Just had to run to Wal-Mart and took the Nomad rather than the car.

Just too windy yesterday so we postponed our ride. Todays weather should be great for a ride.

Got in about 200 miles today for a bite to eat at Blackwater Inn on the river in Astor, FL. Nice place and got to share some great conversation with a few friends.
