So Ponch....what is the deal with Beemer riders not giving a wave? It's like an unwritten rule or something. Once in a great while one of them will give you a gay little pinky wave, but for the most part when I see one coming, I don't bother pulling my wave out of the holster any more. Too many non-responses from those uppity snivelers...

I have no idea. I do know when I broke down on the side of the road, a couple beemer riders passed me by. Even the HD riders did too. The only one that stopped was an old timer on a Bergman.

The guy must have been 70 years old too. A real nice guy.

Look at the demographics that BMW shoots for and usually buys their bikes. Doctors, lawyers, a lot of engineers and others that make a lot of money. Some of them have gone through dozens and may be scores of bikes in their lifetimes. Where the HD crowd becomes the weekend pirate navy, the beemer crowd is more like halfassed ATGATT astronauts in dayglo textile gear with a cappuccino machine mounted on the handlebars. I never belonged to either group and never will.
