When I changed mine way back, I just put the open filter on the right side and left the left stock. IMHO no need to mess with the left side unless you just have to have it look symmetrical......you pull 99% of your air through the open filter then anyway (path of least resistance, etc, etc)...not much air is going to come over from the left side......takes about 20 bucks including hardware and takes 2 minutes to change out.

And look....I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago at the SEMA show and now they must have even heard of the famous kit......... even Moroso is copying it..... I joke, therefore I am.

BTW, this Camaro looked like it had just pulled into a showroom floor, brand new........you might see a little of my slobber on it

I'm glad he thought it out and put it together so we can see it and make it happen ourselves. Nothing more, nothing less. The results other than the obvious other options like the BAK for $300 are great.

You could do the Todd gutting the goat belly kit and then do the Todd solenoid removal kit. He put it all together for the free world!!! Thanks Todd!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO....you're not putting that on me!!!!!!!! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

itsemt......let's get together one day since we are so close and I will show you what I did.....not hard at all and something from all the collective things I learned from others when I first bought my bike with a little of my own thoughts thrown in. I think you can safely gut the bladder if you want......I have V&H baggers and they have less back pressure than the stock and probably less even still that stock with the bladder gutted.\

I just took the simple route is all.

Itsemt. Watch out for Todd's offer!

Make sure gutting your bladder is something that is done to your Nomad!!! I've heard some taking him up on their offer and life is NEVER the same!!!

Helping to reduce your back pressure?? hum..... spooky thought there too!!!

Todd, don't do unto Itsemt as you did unto SWB!

Just watchin' out fer ya bud!!

Thank fellers !!!!!!! We gonna get together one day. It'll be gutted by then I hope. I'm gonna sit out riding 'til about mid January b'cause I nearly hit another deer a couple weeks ago. Honestly it scared the hell out of me and I made sure it scared a couple other folks too so they would use a little caution. I heal in a few weeks and my beloved Nomad won't. Anyway I'm getting all of these little projects taken care during this down time. I got the TFI,the CaddMan, and the bully is next. I know how the Japanese felt whe they woke a sleeping giant. OMG!!

Don't hit one, but if you do send us all some jerky! :) Stay safe out there. I have the full V&H, TFI, and Caddman to do over the next week. Should be fun and enlightening experience.

I did the BD baffelectomy and the pipes sounded much better than stock but since have bought the V&H. Thanks BD.
I also did the Todd solenoid removal when I did the Caddmann kit and it really helped as well. Thanks Todd.
The collective knowledge for Nomads here is second to none thanks to you guys along with Mac's input. I really appreciate it and hope someday I can return the favor. Thanks again.
You guys are the best. :)
