Yes it was taken at work in a paved parking lot, but I seen it shows brown.. The cover is completely chrome as a mirror..

My 2 cents - Just wanted to comment on my Chucksters air kit install - it was easy, took me about an hour. Also some Horsepower increase. I added a Cobra Power Pro, and have V&H Slip-ons coming via UPS tomorrow. The air kit makes a different sound than the stock air box. It's like I can hear more air going in...Hmmm ;) Dont' know about Mileage increase, haven't checked on that. My left side dress-up plate should be here today, so I can take the stock left side stuff off, it's not needed now.

Got the plate put on last night. Took less than 10 minutes. Looks great. pipes in the wind, shold land today. Not excited at all ;) pics will come when it's all done. Will also make short videos of how it sounds before & after - I think that'll be helpful to the next person trying to decide which pipes to get.

I'd like to hear what the intake sounds like now. That's what has kept me from going with the air kit up until now. The complaints I've heard about added noise.
