Good Morning; 20 and overcast with very light snow at the moment. It looks like a good day to stay inside and play with my new toys.

Good morning 29* partly sunny, it looks beautiful outside.
Spotted some tracks in the yard, upon inspection they belong to a large
deer, nice big track and heavy through the snow pack. Wish I had seen it.
Perhaps another time, no sign of sasqautch this winter. With all the threats
of massive storms, I'm thinking they have headed northwest. There are lots
of places to hide (behind dumpsters) and food is abundent (in dumpsters).

Larry what type of fish do you mostly catch?
Do you eat a lot of them?
Up North were my cottage is nothing is in season during the winter. Down here a lot of guys ice fish. Montreal is an island in the St Lawrence river so lots of big fish, but I wouldn't want to eat anything living in these waters.

I fish for panfish ( bluegills, perch, crappie ) I only keep enough bluegills for a meal, maybe twice a year. I fish for the fun of it. Yes catch & release.
Some lakes advise only two meals of walleye per year.
