Reading over on the Delphi board and one of the guys said a dealer in his area said no more Nomads, instead a bigger full dresser after '09 or a change in the platform (whatever that meand) and possibly a reintroduction of the Voyager. A couple others over there have heard similar things.

i've had more comments on my nad than any other bike ive ever had. I love the nad. Will never get rid of the nad. However, been lookin at full on tourer bikes, Goldwing, venture etc. I see one in the future. Goldwing guy asked me why, all i can say is comfort and abilities.

This is why I love this site. The conversations in this thread really point to our diversity of tastes and similarity in the "love of the ride".
MaKaw does need some help to encourage them to listen to "real America", and maybe an encouraging letter might help, or maybe not. Regardless, it's worth a shot. I think that Yamaha has tried to listen to their audience more and you see the changes and diversity between the Road Star and the Royal Star. Granted, I think they missed it with the Stratoliner, but that's my opinion. Trip, don't give up on forcing those guys to hear what we really want--two different platforms with a myriad of options. If they are smart enough to listen, it has the potential to move Kawa up to a definite third or possibly second largest moto manufacturer. Rich |

I like the look fo the HD that has the normal fairing (LIke what what of you guys put on not the bullet shaped one), saddle bags, but now back rest. Tall up fron then it slopes back. Thats what I'm going for with making mine a solo rider.
I like that style but Hate the specific stylings of the HD version. Why does everything have to look so boxy and 1990ish? I love how sleek and rouded our bikes are, especially the saddle bags |

I would like a new Nomad equipped as they are now but with an engine that gets 50mpg and doesnt ping, sounds great without aftermarket pipes, with a really comfortable seat, and does not need $600 spent on a fuel processor and an air kit to get it to perform half decent.
