I planned my route and mapped it on my Garmin. File is too large to attach but will email to anyone interested. Will be leaving on the Saturday and arriving on the Monday.

Would be more than willing to change my plans to meet up with others if possible.

If we put our intended routes on Harley route planner, we can email them back and forth tweaking them as needed.

Mike, Were do you plan on crossing into the states? We use the Fort Erie bridge and cross into Buffalo, taking I90 to I79 most of the way down.

I cross over at Fort Erie as well. I will look at my map and give you some info tonight - at work and don't have info with me right now.

Planning the ride to the National Rally

We are leaving the first week of March for a week. I will be going to the bike show on the Friday & I have to book my room today for the national. Will stay at a motel next to the base and my girlfriend will be along.

I presume we are traveling together Sylvain. I think when I PM'd you I got the dates a little wrong and though we had to leave on the Friday. We have Sat, Sun, Monday to get there, and Fri, Sat, Sun to get home. Reasonably sure I going to the bike show and Friday is the only day that works for me, so that's good.

The room is booked, 13th till the 17th, we are staying at the valley inn, just a few doors down from the base hotel (we can walk home after tucking in our US friends). Owner sounded very nice and had only a few rooms left... Now if June can only get here...

Planning the ride to the National Rally

Ok so this is probably a dump question ::) I was wondering what the "agenda" is like for the Rally. Having never been to one I would like an idea what to expect. If I still had my wife she would want to know what to wear; at least I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I know there are some rides planned and there will be some Beer provided by our American hosts ;). What esle will be going on?

I would like to pick up a KawaNOW patch for my vest will they have some there?

Thanks for the info.

Jeans, shorts and T shirts is what most us wear, there are 3-4 rides planned, probably a BBQ at the motel one day, and dinner at some local resataurants. Rally T shirts will be available and most likely some crests as well. As things get finalized we'll let you guys know.

It sounds like BD won't be there, so no neatly pressed silk shirts!

Thanks,
I was really worried that there might be a semi-formal night and I would have to wear my tux jacket/shirt with my cut-off jeans...
