Hoping for a nice day tomorrow, Sunday..... gonna ride come hell or high water!!

Monday gonna ride in a large group with So. Cruisers..... never ridden with a large group where you have to stay in formation..... so used to riding with a few friends where we can change who leads at any time.... take off and let the Nomad run when she wants.... the more I think about it, I may get claustrophobic!! On the last ride up to Tom's Farms, we fell in behind a large group and followed them in formation for a few miles.... finally couldn't take it any more and took off around them............... this may be the first and last time.

Riding in formation can be either pleasant or a nightmare. I go on a ride each summer were there are people who wander all over the lane and leave huge gaps because they can't maintain a steady pace with the lead bike. There is another group I rode with, and it was great, everybody kept up the pace and spacing and there was no accordion effect going on at all. It was a much better ride.
