Yellow Wolf does some video for folks that want to have a show for home.
Got the same video at the bike show a couple weeks ago. He makes that Goldwing do some stuff. The guys on the sport bike's didn't know what hit them after he passed. There are also a couple threads on the board about ridding the Dragon. Pretty good info in a post by Yellow Jacket.

I've been back and forth over the Dragon, and it's lost a lot of it's appeal to me, But if you've never ridden it, you really need too. Stay close to the white line, go your own speed and you'll be fine. There are a few curves that you'll have to go all the way down to 2nd gear in. The road I like better is the one that goes from Deals Gap store to Fontana Dam (tallest dam east of the Mississippi river), then to Robinsville. highway 28 and 143...................this whole area is packed with some of the best riding in the country.

Cliff do you have a map of the route? I am not familiar with the area but may want to take that ride.

Thanks.

Agree 100%. The roads getting to the dragon are great. Especially the ones mentioned above. Plus the BRP and Skyway are much better environments. You have to ride the Dragon, hang at the store, get a t-shirt, chili-dog, etc....pancakes w/ sausage is awesome too. I can't imagine going to the area and NOT riding it. Weekdays, from mid-morning to mid-afternoons are best.

Oh man, I need to go to this rally.....

I'm actually, on the way down to the Rally, plan on riding the entire Skyline Drive and BRP. 2 1/2 days I have planned for it.

Great link MT.
Sorry I don't remember where the post was, { so feel free to re-post the link there if you know } but there were some of us who had concerns about "riding the dragon" and the faster bikes and sport cars doing the ride/drive. Anyway, within your link there was another web page www.killboy.com with some tips on riding the dragon. Some if not a lot, of the tips are common sense but I thought it was worth reading for some of us and might help relieve some of the apprehension.
http://killboy.com/riding-tips.html

There is a ton of info coming from your initial link MT
Thanks !!!

I just knew I could hear banjos. It was a different tune that I heard though. ;)
Thanks Todd.

<Raisning hand in witness> This dude is some kinda control freak on rides, lol. Seriously, he does a nice job except for the fact his GPS was a lying witch.
I liked the u-turn on the road that was supposed to be a gas station but just ended. ;)
