I know I no longer ride a Vulcan, so my opinion doesn't count, but I would vote for holding the national somewhere like Missouri or Arkansas on a permanent basis. That ride is doable, and is centrally located.
Amen!!!!!!!! Well said!!!!!!!!!!! My sentiments exactly!!!!Half the fun of a rally is the trip!!! I wouldn't be put out none if they was a center country national rally just so more folks could make it and we could see everybody again. If we up and done something like that, then I'd miss Dodge resigning and screaming like a gibbon with a red hot poker up his nether regions when we host one on the East Coast.

My opinion don't count for much seeing as how I ride a ten year old scratched and ding up high mileage, dropped twenty-five times poor old Nomad.

Scott, nothing stopping you from organizing a various baggers national there.
In case that remark sounds smart ass, I'm not trying to be. Held on the off year from the VBA national, you could attract all the ones that have gone on to other brands plus some of us who still ride Kawasaki and just maybe Brad would come too. Ok that last part was smart ass!

2009- Custer- North Central
2011- Maggie Valley- South East
2013- Estes Park- Southwest
2015- Eureka Springs- South Central

It has been suggested to keep this going, and personally I would like to see that continue.
It is certainly not up to me alone to decide.
Considering that the Canada East and North East U.S. usually have combined regional rallies
as do the Canada West and North West U.S. I'll consider them as one region.

I would like to see the rally be held in either the NW or NE region in 2017 and the other in 2019.
Each area has a lot to offer and although their locations will make for a long haul for a large number of members
I think it's doable and I like the idea.
I also think it is important that someone who is willing to help plan the rally live reasonably close to the chosen
location to provide some local knowledge and help make sure that things go smoothly.

I don't know about Custer but in 2011 both Todd and Amy were in the area and played a large roll in the rallies success.
The same in 2013 where Joel and Rod were in the area.
In 2015 myself, Mike and Tom were all close to Eureka Springs and able to assist when needed.

We will have more info soon but I expect the 2017 rally to be in either the NE or NW.
I hope wherever is chosen that many will take the time and spend the small fortune required to attend.
Not to mention the 2011 Redwood Rally, which was 20 miles from the Oregon state line.

That is very hurtful Norm

I think a Various Baggers National Rally in 2017 is a wonderful idea. Thanks for suggesting it!

Weak come back Brad. 2018, picking up on Joel's comment, you could call it the kawanow reunion rally.

Does the Various Bagger group you started have a forum?
Is it a FaceBook group? Just curious.
