That is what I was wandering about myself. I like the deeper pocket of the touring seat but don't need or want the big passenger seat ans I want a backrest mount

The Corbin Sits you back about an inch according to the Rep from Corbin. That's why I went with the Corbin over the Mustang. I sat on my buddies Vaquero after he bought his Mustang seat and I didn't like the way it pushed me up on the tank. This will be the third Corbin I've put on my bikes and they all have set me back a little. I much more prefer that.

Don,

Nice Bike, I read you are going to put on new pipes. I don't if you're stuck on a two in to one pipe or chrome ? I suggest the Freedom Performace Black pipes. The look, sound and perform great!!

Rsweat49 Take a look at my pictures

I have looked at them, personally I like the looks of bagger duals over a 2 into1 pipe but the header is supposed to make more power gain so I have to deside.
I like chrome over black sense the motor is already black the chrome sets it off more. I think freedom performance offers a chrome pipe anyway, Don't they?
They definitely sound sweet,,

Your bike looks like it's been lowered, If it has how much did you lower it? Also does it drag when you are leaning?

from one green/black vaquero owner to another....Congratulations on the new bike, I think your gonna love it. You're right, while the stock windshield looks awesome on the bike its basically useless, I changed mine right away, I also went to a corbin seat on mine. I cant comment on the factory pipes cause the dealer had put cobra slipons on mine before I ever bought it. Get ready to have strangers coming up to you to compliment your bike :)

The bags or crash bars will drag before the pipes will, Usually your running boards will be the first to hit. I use them for curb feelers

I have never got as many compliments on a bike like I have my green/black Vaquero, the color really gets a lot of comments

oh yeah, now that I see your nomad in your sigpic, yeah that's a sweet ride, I guess you are used to being approached at gas pumps and red lights. I get it a lot with the vaquero and for years got it with my 1500 classic that I had (pic attached)

Yep, That 1500 is a slick bike
The green on my nomad was pretty cool, But it can't hold a candle to the vaquero. I am going to do some paint work on it but i'm leaving the green alone
