Hard to set my own password, and not use some screwed up thing that someone else sets for me.. If I get past that obstacle, it might be a good thing.

Is there a place that shows recent posts like last forum? Now I have to try and remember what I commented on, and hunt around for what for the thread it was in. Unless I'm missing something, it's quite a pain to do that when there is 24,000 messages to look through.

There is a "new post" section on top just above the ads (in the red bar written in white)....also, when you comment on a thread you are subscribed to it...under "quick links" in the same bar described above, there is an option to look at subscribed threads....I have been loving those 2 features.

Just my 2 cents....
There were people who whined and cried about the Karma system on the old board and it was taken away from all of us. Just let things be. If you don't like an animated gif image, then don't use it.

OK, Thanks Todd for the info. Now, is there some type of setting that takes you to the last post of thread you commented on? For example, last forum you would make a comment, log off. I could go to work and get on work computer, click on the thread that I commented on and it would take me to the next post someone left. This one I have to either read the whole thing from the start again or click on the last page, then have to go back a page or two looking for my comment then start reading forward.

I've saved my vote till now. I struggled with the change for a while but the more I use the forum the more familiar I become and therefore the more I like it.

I'm not a big fan of the two hand bird either.
I'm not one of the ones who complained about karma.
I was kinda proud of my negative 50

You have to use the advanced reply box to get to the spell checker. Click on the ABC icon and it will ask you to download iespell. I personally have Google check on mine and it will check any filled area for any web postings.

I am trying to find my way around this new forum and it is getting easier as I use it but some things are definitely different so I give it a OK for now.

OK... so I like it so far. one thing I am extremely happy about is the page advance... no more struggle to find the sweet spot before the numbers disappeared.lol. number two is the specific size limits to the pics and hope limits on number of pics in the sig line. no scrolling sideways and I'm on a mini laptop.

So far so good. Is there a bookmark feature?? Use to bookmark threads I was interested in and could save them in my PM's as I never could find anything using the search featue on the old forum.
