What's Your Occupation?

Worked for my dad in the service station business until the Army decided they needed my services in Viet Nam. 101st Airborne Infantry 3rd/506th. Survived that and came home to finish college at Texas Wesleyan University.

Spent 26 years with Fort Worth Police. Few years as a motorcycle cop/instructor in the 70's. Then Detective Supervisor, Internal Affairs Sergeant, and Lieutenant in Traffic Operations and Special Events for the last 15 years. Retired in 1999

Worked for three more years for a friend in his A/C business. Also a Traffic consultant for Texas Christian University for about 10 years.

Now just retired, but I do have a couple of rent houses that I try to keep nice.

Everyone keeps talking retirement. That's 20+ years off for me and only if the economy doesn't keep tanking.

Looks like I'm the only train driver on here. Only coal trains, roughly mile long, 10000 tonnes. Prior to that, 25 1/2 years in Australia Post, our postal service, everything from counter jockey, to postie on a motorbike, to nightsorting supervisor.

What's Your Occupation?

I have owned my own business building custom furniture for the last 18 years. I figure I got another 20 years to go. I think when I retire I will start a small business building custom furniture out of my garage like everyone else does.

What's Your Occupation?

I have worked as a delivery and stocker for small town grocery store when I was 13 and then for a small car lot cleaning cars for about a year, on to a waitress while in high school, Moved to Iowa and worked in a hog confinement in the nursery. until I had the first boy, was a stay at home mom for awhile then back to waitress, remarried had another boy and was a stay at home mom until they were both in school. Went back to work as a clerk in grocery store, moved up to their office, then on to a manager of the cable office and from there back to a sales rep because we were bought by another company, and that is where I am now until I am 80 most likely.

Watchman my husband is now retired for 3 years and enjoying it.... He put in 31 years in working for the city of Macon in the power plant and then moved to supervisor for the electric crew.
