Swing arm maintenace

It wasn't unmanagable to me, but I still felt the front Metz wanted to, not just fall in, but flop into a slow turn. I had to countersteer it at 5 MPH. Not so with the 'Stones. Dropping the pressure corrected that, but then the tire started to cup early. I raised the pressure & rode it a few thousand more & it's OK now with about 14,000 miles on it, but I'll probably be changing it out this winter.

My delima is that I had already bought a new Metz just like it right before the Western Rally, as I didn't want to cancel the trip because I picked up a nail riding to work & back. Now I'm not quite sure I really want to use it, or maybe get an Elite-III or something else for the front.

Oh, well. I still have a few thousand more miles to decide.
