I actually live in Egan (2280 &805B). You may be one of a few that knows where that is.

Sigh... I wish it werent the case but I must cancel out on Nightmare's Antlers Adventure. The company announced this week that they will no longer make polypropylene in Pasadena, and that my unit will be shut down and demolished. With no way to tell what the future holds past December 31, I think it wise to conserve my cash.

I will be cancelling my reservation at the base hotel on Monday.

Historically we have been unwelcome at the Cedar Bayou complex; but reportedly we will be given first consideration for vacancies at other facilities throughout the corporation. They havent provided much information after the closure notice, and that is frustrating seeing as how a lot of thought and planning went into the decision to shut us down. I have to believe they know what our options for the future are if we can be absorbed by other units within this facility or get cast to the winds. Why the communication of those facts has been non-existent leads me to believe they dont want us jumping ship before the plant is down and cleared and they have squeezed everything out of the pig except the squeal then they will show us to the gate for the last time. Time will tell.
