I think you're looking at Littleton, MA not Littleton, NH.

I do the interstate just fine but based on my last outing I apparently cannot do parking lots.

Must be. Littleton, NH is 191 miles from Sturbridge.

The seat is extremely comfortable but because I now sit higher on the bike it has made low speed maneuvering more challenging. I am going to call RDL and see if they can lower it for me.

I'm sure they can do that. I've been working with a friend of mine on a drivers back rest. What I thought was going to be a few bends and a weld turned into something more time consuming than I thought get it right for me. Lucky he had a lot of patience.

That's a day trip. It's only 3 hours and 15 minutes each way. You do that much riding when we're out riding in western MA.

You get up early some weekend morning and head north. Grab breakfast on the way up. Get lunch up in Littleton. Get an ice cream in Bath on the way back and you're home before dark.

Just got off the phone with RDL and they do not make any modification to re-sold seats. Only original owners can get the seats re-adjusted. I am sorry to say it but I am probably going to have to sell this seat.

Joe (id-man) will probably buy it from you. Send him a PM. He needs to be raised up 2 inches.

Can RDL make one for you that allows you to reach the ground better or do you have to go with a custom seat?

That's 430 miles rt Neil. The only way I might be able to do it is if I had the same speedo skills you do and even then It's doubt full. Sorry to hear about the seat Martin. Check out this guy:

http://laamseats.com/

He use to work for RDL. I spoke to Seth about redoing my stock seat. He might also redo your ultimate.

Sunday looks great

Isn't there a compatibility issue between 1500 and 1600?

I don't know if it's just brackets or the seat mounting point in the front. Take a picture of the bottom side of the seat with the brackets on and see if it's something that will work for him.

Looks like I'm not going to make this ride. The doctor just decided to stick me in the hospital. I guess 4 days is to long for the food poisoning to leave the system. Will log back in when I get out.

That sucks Neil. What did you eat? Feel better my friend. By the way you skill set allows for that speedo thing.

Martin are you still in?
