Is there anything else I should know before I take a long trip like that with the trailer?

Mike.

My clutch problem came about after extreme circumstances. With the stock clutch I pulled the trailer from Toronto via Michigan and in a not too direct route south, rode the mountains to Suches Georgia, then meandered out to the west coast. It was that hour in stop and go traffic on a slight up hill grade while crossing the border that the clutch got cooked.
Thanks for the clarification. I plan on bringing some extra parts... a clutch won't be one or them :)

Emu - Beautiful pics. It was my desire to get back to my earlier cross country experiences that I decided to get a Bunkhouse.

It is a good little trailer. but, it is also a little heavy when fully loaded. I didn't like the way that my 1500 Nomad pulled it out here in the northern Rockies. I just felt that the weight was just a little too much. I think that the LeasurLite would have been a better match. But, I do like the room available in the Bunkhouse, especially with the den attached.

Good Luck...I vote we have a Trailer Park as well....but skirting is required and you are limited to only one broken down Harley and two appliances in your sig pic + you can only marry one relative at a time.

Just kidding a bit guys... just kidding. ;)

Nomad ... conjures up visions of the meandering traveler. Trailer Park ... that word "park" seems to go against what a Nomad does naturally. Put them together ... Nomad Trailer Park ... and you have an oxymoron ... a conundrum ... Winston Churchill once said of the Nomad and trailer parks ... "It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma" ... So you see we could just plunge ourselves into a philosophical discussion that could take years and maybe 2 to 3 pages to finally reach a modicum of relevance if not a general consensus that another page is needed to lose total interest. Therefore, I suggest in the name of continuing our lives uninterrupted ... We just say Nomad Trailer Temporary Layover Discussion Area ... (snicker)

I pull a Piggybacker behind my '03 Nomad 1500.
I'd also like a trailering section.

Such eloquence in exposing injustice and raising the plight of the misunderstood before the ocular attention of the oblivious masses brings tears of joy to my eyes and I am humbled in your presence.

Lasse your workmanship transcends any language barrier ... BTW ... don't change a thing ... They have online translators for us poor uni-linguistic types (bi-lingual snicker or LOL should work right about now)
