Sorry to hear about selling the Nomad Greg. You will find what works for you and thats not a bad deal at all having to test ride different bikes. Keep posting...Bdog

Hey there is a plan Greg. You could write an ongoing thread on the test rides. What you liked and disliked. At least we would get an honest report about all these infiltrator bikes showing up here.(

"So the question now is....what do I buy? I can see a lighter bike in my future or maybe one that when stopped my leg is straighter. "

Okay, I see a nice 2008 Vulcan 900 Classic LT in your future.
I bought it new and it's been my baby. I also have a 2006 Nomad so I have decided to sell the 9. I live North of Seattle in Monroe.

The more the bend, especially with weight applied.

You will probably see my old Nomad running around up there. The new owner lives near Puyallup.

Guys and Girls I am narrowing it down and should have it narrowed to one model next week. The beauty is there are some great bikes on the market.......and I have a great vision of what I want/need. Yes the pun was for our Victory boys that recently came out of the closet.

Thanks for all the posts, PM's and phone calls. I am listening and taking notes.

P.S. BDog.......since I am working so fast I will post my test ride impressions next week as well.

Greg I hear you loud and clear about the weight! I have a total right knee replacement and a Blow out back! with the numbness in my left side and weakness I think the Nomad is also too heavy! Good luck with your new ride when you get it! Sucks getting rid of the Nomad as it is a great bike,, Mine will be moving to Fla. in a few months, A old buddy of mine wants it and the goodies :)
