In my case it doesn't take an advanced degree in math to figure out the annual pass is the way to go. I pay $30.00/Yr. for a pass just to get into the Lake Mead NRA to sail my boat. A couple trips to Death Valley and the SWR Rally and I'm over a $100 without the pass.

I agree....in my case the camping season and scooter trips will justify purchasing one. My wife can get the access pass but I'll buy the annual since we may not venture out together.
