The bags are simple to remove. Just a few bolts on the inside of the bag. Not hard to get to and easy to see.

Hey guys,
I want to put these exact freedom liberty slip ons my 2019 voyager. Do I need to get the Ivan reflash for slip ons or can I literally just slip them on while keeping everything else stock? Thanks for any info ! Keep seeing the O2 sensor info so want to make sure I do the right thing ! |

Greetings,
You can swap the slip-ons without doing anything else, as long as there is a place for the O2 sensor on the 'new' slip-ons. The IVAN reflash allows you to disconnect and forget the O2 sensor. Thus, any slip-on is an option. |

I have a '13 voyager. K & N filter in the stock airbox, ivanized, and 4" Cobra straight cut slip ons. She has a nice rumble at idle, great bark when you hit the throttle, and cruising speed is about the same as stock mufflers. The Cobras are perfect for me but everyone has their own taste.

I have an '09 Nomad, Ivanized with Kuryakyn Alley Cat and V&H slip-ons with all the packing removed but the baffles slid back in. Loud enough to alert traffic, sound like the 104c.i. engine she is, but with the bare baffles left in we don't end the day with migraines (neither of us wear helmets or earplugs).

Ivan is beyond fast! Sent my ECU Saturday, he got it Monday 944am, called me at 104pm same day, and said it's done, and shipped. Back in my hands tomorrow, Wednesday. Amazingly fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to get it !

Question guys
Got my bike back with the ECU flash. I added freedom eagle slip ons as well. Everything else is stock. Love the sound of the pipes for sure ! The ECU has me confused lol. When I start the bike and blip on the throttle in neutral, it seems to be really drawn out and idles up to 2000rpm but takes few seconds to come back down. I thought the throttle response would be more twitchy so to speak. I rode it 50 miles on the interstate and I’m wondering exactly what I’m to be “feeling”. Forgive my rookie ECU experience !!!!!! Thanks for any input !!!! |

BEAST,
Congrats on the pipes/sound. Is the bike still cold during this BLIP you described? Mine react as described when cold, but not after being warmed up. Ride safe, Smokier |

Should be a less twitchy throttle response, especially when coming of and on the throttle. The fuel flow reaction time of off and back on is reduced with the flash. Or so it seems, makes it seem more like a direct link from the grip to the motor. without the computer lag ( Cable to computer to actual gas flowing) in-between. On the freeway you will not have that really uncomfortable LUGGING feeling as much in 6th gear at 70mph. Where as before the flash you needed 80mph to shift into 6th gear to feel like it was not Lugging. I only have stock pipes so YMMV.
