The staff and I are discussing the location of our 2011 National Rally as we speak. Nothing has been decided as of yet, but I will tell you that since the 2009 Rally was held in the Northwestern part of the US, the 2011 rally will more than likely, be held in the central part of the US with a slant to the east. This will give those that live in the eastern part of the US a better chance to make that rally since it was far for them to travel to Custer, SD.

We'll probably hold the 2011 National Rally at Deal's Gap or base it around in that area.....but nothing is etched in stone yet. More info to come.

I don't think Custer, SD is in the northwestern part of the US at all. Looking at the map....it appears pretty central except to those in the deep south and extreme northeast.... :-/! I put 3100 miles in round trip to get there and back with a small side trip from the Seattle area....

Lebanon Kansas is the geographical center of the lower 48 states

Here is a map with a circle centered on Lebanon Kansas, just to give an idea of what else is as close to the center.

It would take someone smarter than me to find out where the center of our membership is :)

CJ, they now call this region the central plains. Indiana, Illinois and that are are classified as mid-west. Beats me, I always thought of that as more mid-east????

Kioti, yours includes Alaska and Hawaii, mine was the lower 48.

But even with it being the lower 48, Custer was pretty centrally located, but it was a bit easier for the western guys.

It didn't matter to me. I loved the ride!! Okay, a few shorter mileage days coming back woulda been nice, but I loved it.

All I ask is that you pick a place that has some good roads to ride and we will be there...well, we would be there even without decent roads, just to hang out with everyone.
