1700 vs. 1600, 1500 performance

This has to be the record for the fastest and most complete thread hijacking ever! Fun, to be honest, but way off topic.

My green and silver tortoise regularly does 800-900 mile days. My son has a black Classic and struggles to keep up. So are we talking useless speed/time for a 1/4 mile or overall rate of travel? (I'm not racing BD...he has the same color plus the dark side is with him.)

In the turtle and hare story, our bikes are the turtles folks. That's not bad,,,, that is good! A cruiser is about comfort, style and ease and in that venue these are excellent motor cycles ( but a fast Nomad???? come on that's like talking about how fast your 4 cylinder Camry is)
OK now don't everyone attack at once!
I fling poo at you.

Absolutely true Dank! We have a bunch of reprobates (including me) here in the family. Does keep things interesting at times. Plus we don't want to get all formal and rigid like some of the other forums. ::)

Tom:
More like a Delta 88...If I wanted fast, I would have bought a C14.

Hey...I have a 4 cylinder Camry (ok actually my wife does) and she thinks it is the world's fastest production car made (she believed me)! Now you can see how I got her to marry me.

Don't worry, I don't think any of us will mistake our Nomads for a crotch rocket. Think Lazy Boy.

I won't touch the whole BD and Homoney dialogue....scary!

guys, guys, guys...i really hate to inform you of this...but the Limited SE 2005 classy Blue/Silver is the fast model, that handles the best low speed or higway speeds....when the 05 Blue/Silver was produced, the KawCorp realized, that they should create a deceptively fast bike that turns into a speeding blur, even when sitting still.....oh yeah, almost forgot to add the stealth mode feature that ONLY Blue/Silver owners are aware of <<Secret-handshake>>

You had best keep that hair of yers short! Other wise you are going to confuse all these guys, making them think we are brothers!

Most sites only allow 1 clown, and this one has 4...
