Yes, I will buy a vision! what the heck is a vision anyway?
Actually I almost bought a Victory, nice Ride!
But then I couldnt cornfuse and tick you all off once in a while!

With new oil, Nomad is running great once again, so dont worry i will be around here for a while. I know you all would miss me...
I still say that it would be no big deal for them to install a low oil warning lite. It would not shut the engine down, but just lite up. We have a low fuel warning lite, why not a low oil lite?

Here is a picture of the new bike I am thinking about getting, will have to sell the Nomad first, any takers? .....

I'm thinking you could team up with Monkeyman and start your own motorcycle company. You could design zero maintenance bikes and he could build them.

Youll need to carry a shovel to clean up the exhaust.

Checked out your info... Only part I didn't like is the hack saw dremel bit.

If you lock the old extender in the jaws of a vice you can drive the rid out of the washer like extender faster, and far cleaner with no abrasives dusts or metal chips.

The press fit isn't very tight from the factory.

The rest of this conversation is way too deep for me....

Oh on checking oil I do that any day I plan to simply start the engine before i do. If the oil cold, isn't in the middle of the window I make it be.

i don't trust things like air psi warning indicators, and riding with out KNOWING the engine has oil and or the idea that a bad U Joint might ruin the rest of my life much, but i will ride on a car tire.

With bikes you get one chance to get it right and you get 0 chances to be lazy. If you wanna be lazy buy a car.

I can't remember the last time I started my bike without checking the oil level. I maintain my bikes religiously and clean em regularly. I love riding and keeping a quality bike for a long time. To each their own. What a man does w his ride is his business but I have faith every time I hop on my Nomad that it's gonna get me there and back.
