Booze, bikes and bricks = trouble

Another biker killed yesterday. Lady ran a red light and turned left in front of him. Knocked him about 48 ft. from the point of impact. Bike was stuck under the vehicle.

It seems we have one of these fatal cycle crashes at least once a week here. Always alcohol and speeding involved. Most no helmets too. Sad!

Prescription drugs are just as bad. We had a local group get crashed into head on by a guy in a pick up truck this past Saturday who had taken a prescription med. No mention of the name of the med. Killed two of the riders and injured a few of the others. One of the survivors had his leg amputated below the knee yesterday.

Geezz that's awful. Yep you can get a DUI for operating a vehicle while under the influence of prescriptions meds....thus the warning on the label.
