I agree that technically Congress has the power....but Obama is the pitchman on this one. He is the leftist media darling. The whole lot of them should be fired on this one.

Alot of this bill is campaign paybacks and a set up for future rubber stamps. Whatever Obama and/or the Dems in Congress want...they will get. Until we vote other people in.

I agree with Bob...don't see many jobs (definitely not a fraction of the 3,000,000 jobs that Bozo Reid said this will create!) in this.

This bill is a joke and a crime!

(For those that don't know... ACORN was charged with soliciting and implementing illegal votes for Obama. This appears to be Illinois politics raising its ugly-head again. You should remember the political phrase used in Illinois... "Vote early... and vote often." Obama wants to cut the deficit in half in 4 years? Thats 450 million dollars per day! Not including what is tallied every day! The deficit is different than the National debt. Where is 500 million dollars a day going to be "slashed" from? Reducing the Armed forces in the middle east may be a start, but when you start a Presidency one step forward and two steps back, We'll be lucky if the deficit stays the same!

Clarification, Obama wants to stop the spending "After" the democrates and republicans get everything on their wish list.... ie the 9000 plus ear marks on the "new" but not yet passed give em money list.... not counting the "ear marks" on the previous two give em money stimulus packages. So much for another Obama get elected campaign promise.

Face it we are hosed.... when they start with the heading of cuts as usual democrate stance of military spending.....
Can you say 911 the sequal..... man will we never learn. Just cause we want peace doesnt mean everyone else does.
