80 degrees and sunny, so I rode to work tonight. Hope everyone who is able gets out and enjoys the wind this weekend. Only one more week of school and I will have more time to get out and ride. Any volunteers to take my Biology Final for me?
Not me....I've already been there, done that. Bachelor's or Master's?

Yep, I rode this morning in a small parade in a tiny neighboring town. I think the whole parade lasted about 15 minutes. LOL. The ride to and from was nice. Had Christmas shopping to finish after that. Will try to get out and ride tomorrow.

Did ja ride today???

Did not ride today as it was raining this morning. Wind and clouds the rest of the day. I rode on Friday as it was just windy.

Hey topcat, last time you reported any snow you said only 6" around the shed. Now you are saying you have a foot and a half. What gives? Are you making your own snow up there?

24 degrees, windy, snow. Drove the bronco to a lake, threw my kick boat in and fished for 4 hours. Caught lots of fish, not too much trouble with ice in the rod guides. Proved a great new fly pattern. Hey, if I can't ride the Nomad I can always fly fish and still have a great time. Idaho

Did ja ride today???

+1 with BD; did the Xmas shopping thing. No rain here in VenCo, SoCal... but my mind was thinking, "I should be out riding right now" the ENTIRE TIME. I'll definitely go this morning after work since the wife says she wants a day to herself to relax. Hey great, "See ya..." !

Sounds like some of the parades I ride in, Kawgirl. Lindale has several parades during the year. I love to see the Harley's overheat and be pushed to the side....LOL.

Most of the reservoirs aroung here are frozen now until March. Springfield reservoir is a small spring fed lake that stays open on the upper end where the springs feed into the lake. It is a shallow lake that is stocked with 16 inch trout and managed as a trophy fishery. You can only keep two over 20" and must use barbless hooks on artificial lures only. No bait, no smelly add-ons. When the temps drop below zero for several days the lower end of that lake will freeze up but the upper end will stay open and you can still get in on it with a kick boat and have a great time.

No riding here. It was -5 F this morning. Snow and freezing drizzle on Friday, Snow and Freezing Fog Saturday. Nice and sunny this morning. But with 8 inches of snow and ice underneath, I'll stick to the 4x4.
