(I hit the wrong button and didn't get to finish my post (sorry).

John, How ya doing man? The ignition is definitely in an awkward area on the 04 Nomads. I would like to relocate the ignition and choke , but I have spent my quota on the Nomad for a while. I will be tackling that project though sometime in the future. What did you do differently to keep from cutting wires? I didn't realize that the relocation took up the tool storage area, I wouldn't like that because I utilize that area above where the tools are stored for extra fuses, headlight, tail-light bulb and a few other handy things. I appreciate hearing from a Fellow Nomad rider. Any Mod's you would like to pass on I'd like to hear about them. Thanks for the reply.........Jim

OK, I hope you guys don't freak. This was the oldest thread in the room and I bumped it for a couple reasons. First, I just thought it was fun to jump into the wayback machine and bring this relic back to light. ;)

In almost exactly 1 year since this thread was started, KawaNOW went from only 60 to almost 1000 members. That's something worth mentioning.

Also BD's first post was in this thread; and amazingly it was a serious post!

Finally, I see a couple members that haven't posted in a long time but the rest are still regular posters.

OK, history class is over. ;)

When I first started reading the posts I thought "60" was a typo. Then when I began seeing strange screen names with low posting numbers and 2007 as the date they joined it began to dawn on me (hey give me a break, I'm still on my first coffee). While it is true that the members make up the bulk of what Kawanow is all about it couldn't get there without good leadership. Kudos to you Trip and all the Moderators and staff for all they do to make this a great place to be a part of. At this rate of growth I want to throw my hat in the ring early for "Food Editor" of the soon to be "Places to Eat/Recipes Forum" within KawaNOW

Somehow I just knew that BD's second post in this thread would not be a serious one.
