Just wondering where you had the kitchen sink fitted Mick ? lol

Scooter, did you go solo or two up mate ?
...and oh yeh, welcome to the overpriced state of W.A. where apparently everyone's a rich iron ore miner who can afford expensive services :)
A few years back I got quoted around the same price for fitment of rear tyre.... that's when I decided to toolup my own garage. Never looked back.

I got a remote control shower,i can wash the dishes under that. Did i mention the washing line.

solo just 2 blokes riding
we too had a washing line
we ride with all the protective gear all the time, even in 44 heat.....
in Janurary we attempted a trip and only got 600km from home
when we were hit by a flash flood landslide first day out.
rote off both bikes and trailers....... we walked away without a scratch
because of our gear
this was attempt no2..........

that's why I bought a Nomad1600
and Mal found an exact replacement Yamaha bike in Perth.
He flew over and rode back in Feburary.
been planning this trip since then

Well looks like it all turned out pretty well Scooter.
Looks like you and your mate had a good ride/gear setup.
