I spent a little time out on the range a couple of weekends ago. At 30 feet I finally got my Ruger LC9 (EDC) on track to where it was as accurate as my fullsize 9mm and .45 I practice with the same self defense ammo I carry in it all day.
Oddly, for the first time EVER my Taurus PT145 jammed when I tried to run the jacketed hollow points through it. I am going to take it down and clean it and try again. It may just not like that ammo...?

Please post what happens after you clean the gun, From what I have read on the Ruger forums ammo can be a issue in feeding! have you checked out http://rugerforum.net/ great site great info

My son has been shooting since he could hold a .22. Yes the Ruger forums gave me some great info on concealed carry holsters. If you are familiar with crossbreed they are very comfortable. I will be checking out the other one now too! Thanks guys.

Dave I just picked up a Alien I.W.B. and O.W.B holster's with there 2 fer deal!Plus a Glock Shell for my son. Never had a I.W.B. before and man it is comfortable!

The lead time on both the crossbreed and alien was up to 4-6 weeks. I found a retired sheriff here who does his own kydex work and I showed him what I wanted. He took the gun and custom made the mold and had it back to me in less than 24 hours. Total cost $40!

This guy I know, we'll call him "Joe", - Joe has gotta have by all accounts no less than 25 - 30 or so carry settups rangeing from shoulder rigs, iwb's,owb's, ankle straps, man purses, bla-bla... Joe always seems to go back to the Remora "IWB" for SOB carry. Joe has 4-5 Remora's (because NONE of them fit by the recomended fitment chart...) Remora was recently bought out by "Stickey" in case any one looks into this.These are a "clip-free" retention strapless clam type pouch that is secured quite well by the natural body heat. (sweat...) Joe carrys everything from wheel guns to his 5.7 depending on the destination of that " .60cent" coupon his wife MUST CASH IN...
Joe even has his wife "Jane" useing the Remora more & more because he is relentlessly trying to break her of purse carrying. DUMB DUMB DUMB! !! He often hides her purse just to piss her off & prove a point. Mostly just pisses her off.

I have to say I am really happy with the way this one turned out. I plan on having a couple more made for my other choices..
I know the struggle with the wife and purse carry. Mostly it just lays in the console of her truck which pisses me off. Granted I am with her most times and I am always carrying but those little solo quick trips to walmart etc... that is where the opportunities for misfortune can occur.
