Holy crap Scott. Riding til your foot almost falls off is hard core but crazy. BD is right about eating right and working out. It'll add years of good riding. I hope you heal up soon.

Really sorry to here this Scott. I hope you have a fast and full recovery. I also have Diabetes and we have to live by some different rules. I know I could do better. For the last couple months my knee has given me fits, so I broke down and went to the Dr. yesterday. A shot in the knee and hope that takes care of it. This age thing is a drag. Heal fast and clean up your bike.

Sorry to hear about this. My grandmother died from sepsis at 99 from a foot infection that turned to gangrene. It was either cut off the leg or go. At almost 100 she figured she'd been here long enough.

Take care of yourself and those infections when they come up.
