+1. I am sure I will not own one anytime soon but it just looks like the fairing is 3 feet out ahead of the rider and is pointed straight down. Must be a whole different feel when you're in the saddle though.

When I was looking for a replacement bike after selling my Nomad, the HD dealer tried to get me interested in a Roadglide Custom. He said big guys like the RG because it has more room than the EG, which does feel more cramped than other cruiser type touring bikes. Like the Streetglide, I couldn't and can't imagine dealing with 2" of rear suspension travel. Even on the nomad I would bottom it on some bumps with 30lbs in the shocks and it could be painful. If there's one area HD needs to improve on is suspension technology and design.

I rode my buddy's 2007 RG and it had a real nice ride. I like the shark nose fairing.

Try riding something else with a suspension, especially on roads that aren't perfectly smooth and level. Even the midget motojournalists comment on how the Streetglide and other bike with short suspension travel in HDs arsenal show their limitations on less than smooth roads. In this day and age I would think they could design and build a bike with 5" of travel in the rear that didn't sacrifice looks. Just saying.
