Seriously... don't be bullshitted by the bullshit. My old HD has never leaked oil, and my new one doesn't either.

No offense... but the story-telling BS has got to stop...

My Nomad leaked oil in several places. No HD I have owned ever leaked... so say what you want...

Do you know anything about what you speak of?

Ummm... whose bikes are being recalled at the moment?

If you know, personally first-hand, of a new HD (made since 1990's) that leaks oil... I would like to hear of if.

I have said it before and I will say it again, You guys who ride OFF brands and are on a Kawasaki forum have to expect some ball bustin.
We know the newer HDs don't leak oil, coolant is another story
We know all you guys don't trailer your bikes all the time either but the ribbing will continue.
Grain of salt Greg.

You call your comments "ball-busting"?

Look, I know you do not like me and we disagree on several things, but I do not need your "fatherly" advice. Keep it to yourself.

Didn't know the guy but, We were all returning from the Red Lodge Rally last year. Got held up in a downpour in an underpass. Guy pulled up on his 2013 Street Glide. After sitting there for a few minutes I noticed an oil spot under the left side of his bike, below the kickstand. I told the guy he was leaking oil and to say the least ,he was pissed. Said that the bike was in the shop twice for the same leak... True story, NO BULLSHIT !!!!!

If I were him, I would be extremely pissed. Sorry to have assumed it to be another of a long list of "supposed stories" about a specific brand of motorcycle.

Seriously
If you are talking to me, yes all of my comments pertaining to members bikes, no matter what brand are ball bustin.
Maybe your idea ball bustin and mine are different
I don't know where you got the idea I don't like you We met at the rally in Maggie Valley and I thought you were a real good guy, still do.
Sorry if I annoyed you with my, as you call it, fatherly advice.
From this point forward I will keep my comments to you strictly factual.

Joe (id-man) rides with a guy that owned a Harley that use to leak even after taking it in to the shop several times. I actually rode with them once while it was leaking.

So you vulcan owners are on a vulcan forum in a thread about an oil leaking vulcan, and you have the temerity to point the finger at another brand? There are tons of these same threads on here. Pot, meet kettle. I wish they had an emoticon for "kiss my ass" on here.

..Well I see the gang is still a bit smitten with the remains of the past winters cabin fever...get well my children..

As for the topic of this thread---Me and Elvis was sittin in my garage, pickin and singing a few gospel songs...and munching some cheesburgers...

And it came to me that the dripping oil must be coming out of the oil Screen Plug (if it's a Kawasaki)...slip a torque wrench on that plug and torque it up to about 18 ft lbs ...I use aprox 20 ft lbs on mine..but I replaced the OEM O-Ring with a slightly "fatter one"

("El" still rides a Harley)

Clutch Cylinder.......

Ok it must be the clutch seal, not engine oil!
Clutch is not disengaging all the way.
and I have noticed harder shifting up and down.
I can pull clutch in and bike still wants to try to move forward somewhat.

I plan on replacing clutch oil and checking seal today.

Seems more than one guy on this thread needs to go on a nice long ride.
Bike racism is rampant on here.
