My $0.02....

I know we had a vote and all....that part is all good. Given what Trip has spelled out above...we are now at a different place than what we all probably expected. As we also know....this is Trip's forum to do with what he wants...the rest of us are along for the ride.

Since we are a Bagger group....having the word "Bagger" in the slogan makes sense on a number of levels. It was not what I voted for originally, but la de da....who gives a rip....(except for maybe glwilson....).

That said, I am totally okay with "Where Baggers Are Boss". Besides, Trip has already said that is what he prefers....why make this hard for him? If you don't like it, go cry in someone else's beer...mine is fine like it is.....

1 and 2 have been ruled out.

3 and 4 sound like a Disney World theme. Too cheesy.

I like 5, but honestly don't care. I probably wouldn't even miss it if we didn't have one.

Geez... a bunch of flip-floppers around here... beginning to sound like politicians...

I still vote (again) for "A Vulcan Nation"... which won the popular vote by decent margin!!!!!

So, How about a re-vote on the top 5? Keeping in mind that it's Trip's call anyway. Just for the record I would vote "where baggers are boss". If for no other reason than it makes the best sense to Trip.

However here are more reasons . . .
#1 Vulcan Nation in any of its variations is taken. If you want to copy stuff just say, "It sorta looks like a Harley"
#2 Same as above. VBA is already close to VRA. Should we mimic their slogan too? BTW, that one was mine.
#3 That one sounds like Disney Land.
#4 That one sounds like Disney World.
#5 At least sounds original and it fits this forum.

Trip's Troopers...We could use a storm trooper riding a Nomad as our new logo.

I would suggest talking to Brian and finding out what the dealio is. Another way to look at it is, it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission, but you already have asked permission so...You'll have to decide what's a reasonable amount of time. I wouldn't think it would take more than a couple weeks, a month at most. If it's taking longer, someone's not trying hard enough and I don't mean you. Just saying. Anyway, I'll go with Scott's suggestion if we have to leave the winning slogan out.

It's not a Vulcan Bagger, but you could photo shop it.

If they can't give you a decision on #1, then go with #1. No news is GOOD news. I feel they are not too worried about it if they can't make a decision.
