OK on a serious note without a doubt experienced motorcycle riders are WAY better car drivers because of it... I've known that for years...

I tend to be more observant because of being a biker.

Like most here, I believe I'm a better 4 wheel driver because of my time spent on 2 wheels. But Scott, I have to say there are people who just should not be on a motorcycle for one minute. They can get by in a car but those are the ones we have to watch for and avoid. My wife thought she might like to ride her own bike after our incident with a deer. So she could be in control. I'm relieved to say she tried and said {on her own} that it wasn't for her. Thank God !!!

I'm much more cautious and attentive in a car thanks
to 45 years on a motorcycle dodging them.

Ditto that...but I still scratch myself, even when on the bike.

Patricia Started 1 up in 2006. Especially considering the amount of miles she's logged, I think she does awesome. She says that she is much more aware since starting to ride. Even more so since getting hit by the lady cager in 2010.

Nothing better {providing you make it out of it OK} than an accident while on your ride to make you more aware. My a$$ puckers and I wake right up when I see deer signs now.

After a 20 year layoff (road bikes) I noticed it immediately after taking it up again. Much more aware of things not only around you, but out farther. Seeing things in advance and figuring out avenues of escape and anticipating other options (what if's). Not just on the bike, but on four wheels as well.

I had become complacent over the years and hanging it all out on two wheels jerked me back to reality.
