I understand from Kawasaki reps that he had some mechanical problems with that bike on the cross-country trip. Engine was fine, just other problems cropped up.

While that bike is not my cup of tea either, that style is appealing to many others. That's the beauty of a Vaquero. It can be customized to suit just about any taste.

BTW, the 2012, lime green and black Vaquero.... I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could. Something about that color scheme that I really love.

Has anyone seen one in a dealer yet?

Kane is 29 and this bike is just a promotional bike. He doesn't ride cruisers or associate with cruiser riders. He is the epitome of a sport bike rider and one of the worlds best stunters. I seriously doubt he has ridden it again since this summers trip.

I like the bikes concept a LOT, but from what I've been told, from friends at Kawasaki, this bike was just thrown together at the last minute. It was in the shop several times while riding to the east coast. And the paint/pin-striping was rubbing off after just a few days. The quality was NOTHING like the roaring twinz Vaquero.

I am with TC, Steve you are right! Younger guys like it:) But it strange how Harley stays the same and never goes out of style. But the new road glide ultra is great looking and has all the old style !

Is that why custom Harley's and choppers are so popular? Because everyone loves the look of a stock bike?

And the Tuetles got their own T.V. show(s) because they're so good looking! LOL

I've noticed there are a bunch of tea drinkers on this forum. Or maybe just one that set down his cup to go to the bathroom, 'cause I keep hearing people say "that ain't my cup of tea" (not just this thread).

Just my observation

I meant to say, "that's not my cup of diet Mt. Dew".

I'm not a fan of the Vaquero in the first place, nor the new Nomad either, but thats just me. I don't care for the appearance of the Kane bike..it does look like it is just tossed together. I guess I'm old and schooled..bdog

I didn't really inspect it very close, but the salesguy and I talked a bit about our opinions on it. We both agree the overall idea is good, but maybe some details were over looked in the paint scheme layout. ???
