I just assumed that as with most things they would still be cheaper in the U.S than what I paid.

In April 2001 I added a sissy bar, pad and luggage rack, saddle bag rails with tax license and title, I paid $14,400.00. I didn't get a deal.

Ouch. I guess it's because there is no competition. Thing is, we have internet sales now. You can easily buy from anywhere. A lot of parochial dealers will be getting an education over the next couple years.

There is a new Kawasaki shop east of here and I got a e-mail that they have a Vaquero for $14,500.00, they want me to come and buy it. If I had the finances right now, I would take them up on it.

That's a decent price. I haven't seen much cheaper. Here in Iowa, most work off list. It's like, why wouldn't you buy local...I guess so.
