Sad to report that my son, Richard, won't be able to make the Talimena this year. He really enjoyed the ES rally and wanted to see everyone again. Unfortuately a close friend of his passed away and he feels the need to be at the funeral.

I did call yesterday and cancel his two bed room at the Budget Inn. If anyone needs one, now might be the time to call the Budget Inn. 580-298-1110

Cheryl and I plan to arrive Wed afternoon. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Bill, Pass my condolences on to Richard. His need to stay for the funeral is understandable. Skipper and I will be heading up 59 off of I-20 going through Paris. Is that your route?

I will pass the info along. Cheryl and I are dragging the Nomad with the wife's van. She has too much stuff. We will run up I-35W to Gainesville and 380 over to 75 in Sherman and head north..

I'll be coming up Thursday and will meet you guys at Queen Wilhelmena. Too much going on at work to be able to get off on Wednesday.

Kathy can't get off work, so I'll be coming alone. But, she'll be there with me/us in spirit.

Bill, tell Richard I'm sorry to hear about his friend. His decision is certainly understandable.
