Summer Riding Gloves

The motorcycle shop had it's fingerless leather gloves marked for $3 each, so I bought 5 pairs. I think they were supposed to be marked at $30, but the cashier just rang them up and gave me the bill. :)

I hear ya Kris. I used to ride all year long with a jacket and full face helmet. Until one summer, I almost passed out from getting too hot. Now, for summer riding, I ride in a long-sleeved shirt and lid. If it's my time to go.....then it's my time to go.
My thoughts exactly. It's too damn hot here most of the year to ride in heavily padded gear and a full face helmet. If I'm going to ride, I want to be comfortable or what's the point of it? Riding in and of itself is inherently risky and wearing all the safety gear in the world only helps in certain situations. If I was that worried about death or injury, I'd quit riding and stick to driving a cage.

Summer Riding Gloves

I'm wondering if the Mariners shouldn't try batting with motorcycle gloves.... ::). Off to a roaring 1-3 start and heading to Texas for three more losses before heading home for their home opener..... :-[.
