At the time I purchased it was 33.00, prepaid from Amazon. Would like to remount in another location, because IMO all these type of horns are butt ugly to look at......but they sure do work! http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/e...g?t=1268738655[/quote:86vqone8] Ya I've seen in mounted in the stock location, but it was mentioned that someone mounted where it could be seen. I'd like to know where that is.

The little black push button works the Stebel. The stock horn switch works the stock horn.

I got mine at Biker Highway. I highly recommend the wiring kit....for $10 makes the job simpler if you are a wiring novice like me.
Utah.....I mounted mine on the throttle side using the stock horn nut and a 90 degree bracket I bought at Home Depot. Mine is a 1500. I would rather have it on the clutch side which is alot easier to find space on the 1600.

Biker Highway. I turned mine sideways to tuck it further in. I made a bracket to mount it on the radiator mounts.

Jared, Here is where I attached the compressor and horn unit. I wanted the horn to be heard and not seen. Note my signature pics; no visible horn. The compressor is hung with the stock hardware in front of the battery box in a "vee" in the frame. The horn unit is clipped to the frame above the swing arm with the original bracket that clipped to the compressor. This way the sound travels down and out to the sides of the bike and not at me like a mount in the stock location. The horn unit and the compressor are plumbed together with vinyl hose covered with corrugated, split wire loom to protect the hose. All in all it wasn't too hard to do. Only regret is I should have painted the compressor black before installation.

Once again, thanks guys for your help and responses. Thanks Dennis and Bob I appreciate it as always. Bob I really like your setup. I never thought of two horns, great idea.
