Another way to clean the little buggers off is use a dryer sheet from the wife's laundry room. It has enough texture to it to scrape the guts off & will not scratch your windshield....-Rich

for bugs on the windshield try spraying with pleadge.i allways
carry a can on road trips.by the way, for those of you coming to the
rally in custer in two weeks, you will get plenty of bugs on your
wingshield.

Wow, that gizmo is effective!!

I bought one yesterday and it is already raining this morning without even having used it!!
Last time I washed Lucille it rained the next day. This contraption made it rain just by THINKING of washing her. ;)

I hook it to my hose, follow the directions, do a quick cleaning. I did towel dry the windshield and mirrors. Took it for a quick spin, get back home and there are no spots...not one, on the bike. All of the chrome is sparking clean. It was great!
I've used one of those for years on my truck and your right, they work great. Only bad thing is depending on how bad your water is determines how often you need to replace the filter. I can get about 5 washes max out of a filter, then the spots start showing up again.

After I wash my bike I dry it with a LEAF BLOWER.

I dry it with a chamois, but then I drive around the block to blow out the drops that I missed.

I bought a cheap one and it works great. No spots.
Yep, that's me, too. Major towel dry first for what I can reach, and then I use the leaf blower to get the majority of the water out of the crooks and crannies...then I take it for a spin to get the rest of it out. Never spots for me (unless it's on the underside of the exhaust).

Leaf Blower.. with the Harley Davidson name... about $129.00 or more.. Wally World $30-40.00 for an electric one. ::)
I use the Mr. Clean wash system too, and when done, I use a leaf blower to quick dry my Nomad. ;) Works great too!
